Firstly, I would like to apologise on behalf of Saul who is the founder of P&R. As correctly assumed by a few of you out there he is currently sunning himself on a beach somewhere, sipping cocktails and apparently oblivious to his responsibilities over here!!

For the rest of us it has been a frustratingly quiet week regarding our beloved Spurs. Yes, we have signed a new keeper but other than that we have been subjected to the same old chunterings of when Berbatov will leave and for how much!

Personally I would have liked for him to be gone by now for £30 Million to Barcelona or AC Milan, alas, that is not to be and I fear we may have finally lost him to Man U. What can you do? He clearly doesn't want to play for us and if we can get that sort of money for him then fill your boots Mr Levy. However, before you do that, please get a certain Mr Arshavin's signature !

Well, there's nothing any of us can do now but wait and see what the board and Mr Ramos decide to do and in them we must trust.

So, onto 'Boro away then for the first competitive test for our new look Spurs. Who will be the starting 11? Will Darren Bent continue his glorious pre-season form? Will Modric and Giovanni perform when faced with 11 hairy assed blokes of the premiership? Will King and Woody both start? We will see but I for one cannot wait for 3pm on saturday.
