Levy's balls - by Michael Zucker
So we have lost Robbie Keane to a despicable Liverpool, according to Daniel Levy.
Well, I for one am very very disappointed with Mr Levy’s response, in not taking up this issue with the F.A. /
Premiership, or whoever monitors transfer dealings. Drawing a line, following Liverpool’s agreement to pay some money
to charity, was a real cop-out ( good choice of words for Liverpool don’t you think ).
If Liverpool’s dealings have been so underhand, then they should have been pursued through the football ‘courts’ and,
hopefully, heavily penalised. By not pressing for penalties Daniel Levy has effectively O.K.’d Liverpool’s actions and
rubber stamped this behaviour to be continued by others in the future. Either take a hard line or stop bleating. I know
the football authorities are weak but there are rules and surely someone has to stand up to the bully boys.
It would appear Spurs have not been angels in their dealings, when you read some of the comments re the Ramos and
Bostock transfers, but if Liverpool’s approaches have been ‘illegal’ then surely they should have been brought to
account.
Mr Levy, I am afraid you have demonstrated you have no balls and I for one really thought you had!
