Cheers Robbo
Robbo and Pascal check out - by Saul McNeilage
Spurs boss Juande Ramos has continued to trim the squad this weekend with Paul Robinson and Pascal Chimbonda
both leaving the club.
Robinson, who joined Spurs in 2004 making 175 appearances, will best be remembered at the Lane for scoring that
remarkable goal against Watford two seasons ago. The former Leeds man has joined Blackburn Rovers after Spurs
accepted a £3.5 million bid for the England keeper whilst Chimbonda has followed Teemu Tainio to Sunderland for an
undisclosed fee.
The exodus of players is expected to continue this week too with Younes Kaboul on the verge of joining Portsmouth
and Steed Malbranque reportedley set for Sunderland. Unfortunately, Robbie Keane could also be leaving the club
soon with the Irishman set to undertake a medical at Liverpool in the next few days.
