As the world cup continues to bore us to death, it's perhaps timely for the premier league to unveil the fixture list now for season 2010-11.
We kick-off at home against City. Last season both sides battled it out for 4th place but if I was a City fan I would be disappointed if they were only targetting 4th this year. Nonetheless, I fancy us at home against any side. My only concern is the proximity of the champions league qualifier to this game but I am not going to moan about being in that competition.
Looking way forward, we also end the season at home in a favourable game against Birmingham which could be important if we are fighting for anything at the end of the season.
Unlike last season, where April was evidently difficult from the start, the fixture computer has been much kinder to us. I would perhaps call the spell in late November, early December as the most difficult when we play Arsenal away, Liverpool at home, Brum away then Chelsea at home. However, that's still not as bad as it could have been.

FA Cup Final before the last game of the season. Ridiculous !!
granty.....u coming to the first game this year?
Yes Chris but I wont be in the Bricklayers. Have they closed the Corner Pin now?
I see Citeh game is same day as potential Cup semi. What odds on another SKY plot for a top 4 playoff?
Also agree playing the Cup final before the end of the league is ridiculous.
anybody wanna go on a virtual Vuvuzela???? Enjoy http://gr.vc/vuvuzela/
Has anyone got their heads round the Champions League qualifiers yet? I see we're in a group with Sevilla, Sampdoria, Bremen and Auxerre who will be joined by one of 10 teams in a qualifying play off. Those teams are likely to be Zenit, Ajax, Fenerbache, Kiev and Braga. Are those last 5 the only ones we can get drawn against (provising they're the teams that qualify for the last qualifying round) or can we end up playing one of Sevilla, Sampdoria, Bremen and Auxerre???
I think we have a really good start to the season. Man C at home means we will start on the up.
after that 4 winnable games before Spammers away. (I would expect them to be better than this season and we got a generous win then)
COYS!
CG, some bloke has tried to exlain it here, dunno if it helps http://triffictottenham.co.uk/champions-league-qualifier-how-it-works/
54 teams in the CL qualifiers.....
Craig, the 10 teams in our qualifying play off will be seeded based on UEFA rankings and the top 5 teams will play one of the bottom 5 seeded teams. We will be in the top 5 seeded teams as the only teams higher than us are Sevila and Werder Bremen. Other two teams likely to be seeded with us 3 are Zenit St. Petersburg and Fenerbache (if they both progress) leaving us to potentially play any one of Sampdoria, Auxerre, Ajax, Dinamo Kiev, Braga, Celtic, Unirea Urziceni, PAOK, Young Boys or Gent.

I'm going to bet on Celtic. (with Keano playing for them!)
My money is on Martin Jol's Ajax.
My mistake, Ajax are higher than Fenerbache in the UEFA rankings to be used for the 2010-11 Champions league so we have a chance of playing Fenerbache, not Ajax. I'd like to think we can overcome any of the teams we can potentially play with perhaps the trickiest being Fenerbache who have competed regularly in the Champions League in recent years...
I bet Wenger would love to meet Young Boys in Ar5ena1's group... oohh Sir!...Suites him Sir!!
Spezza....I'd never stoop soo low
....but Wenger would!
Of the teams listed, my guess would be Sampdoria.
I'm pretty well chuffed about our opening fixture being Man City,as that should grab the lads focus which in turn will then carry on into the Champions League fixture, rather than it being a weaker Premier League side and subconsciously we might approach our european tie in the wrong state of mind.
well if we do get Febernace or a stronger side in the CL qualifiers, there s every chance that Harry rests some players for that first game.
nice to see those cheating frog cun@s beating by mexico. best laugh i had yesterday was reading sols article in paper saying he should be at the world cup. go do yourself one judas, it was you who decided to play in 4 div of english football, returned to arseholes who won f all. long live dawson worth his place anyday over that judas pric@. i will be so pis@ off if spurs dont make it to champ league proper. great fixtures list gives spurs chance to hit the ground running.
It's a bit of a conundrum. We have to make the group stages but once we're there we really have to turn our attention to the league and ensuring we make the Champions League again next season. We need to get in to the Champions League and once we're there we have to treat it as secondary in our list of priorities.
"nice to see those cheating frog cun@s beating by mexico" Didn't Robbie Keane dive for a penalty in qualifying? Why is that never mentioned? Every team cheats. Why so bitter Raver?
Mexico look a decent side. I felt the competition went up a level with that game. The speed of the game was much improved and I could hear chanting from the crowd!
yep Craig Grant if man city did it to cheat spurs out of champ league place we see how you would take it. plus henry being x arsehole cun@ makes it even worse for me.
What if Spurs did it to win the Champions League place? I remember cheering Defoe scoring a goal with his hand on purpose a few seasons ago. I'm sure you did too.
Did you cheer the Keane penalty in the qualifiers that he cheated to win out of interest?
Granty, I am undecided as to whether your being pragmatic today or just looking for an agrument to spice up your Friday?
That's how I honestly feel about the situation. Far to much has been made of the Irish getting cheated out of being in the Finals. For a start, they cheated to win a game in qualifying. They made it to the play offs and were never leading over 2 legs. France cheated (sh1t happens) and all of a sudden Ireland have been cheating out of going to the WC. They were 2nd best to a pretty awful side over 2 legs. A lot of people just need to get over it.
Totally agree with you Craig. Those Irish feks need to get over this. Every game consists of dozens of incidents of dubious actions by both teams... Lets face it, France are a better team in all respects.
I think it was fuelled by the press because it was France. The french are deemed arrogant, believing their methods are better and when they got through by cheating then it was an opportunity the press here couldn't pass up. Same with Argentina and the hand of God. Germany gets the same reaction, how much was made of Klinsmann's diving when he was signed? Madness. You can bet if these instances were from a Honduros player than it would have been filed under 'shit happens' long ago.
True. I don't remember any outrage when Crouch pulled on that Trinidadians dreads to beat him to the ball to score the winner in the last WC.
What is done is done. Can't say I agree about France being the better team though.
Changing the subject slighty, has there been any players who have impressed you at the WC?
For me Uruguay's midfielder Perez, Striker Forlan, Alexis Sanchez of Chile and Ozil of Germany have been very good as well as Di Maria of Argentina.
Dos Santos has looked good for Mexico...
Never heard of him :)
The better he plays, the more he pisses me off. You can argue that it's up to a manager to get the best out of players but I have a lot of faith in Harrys man management skills. If he can't get you to play for him than there is something wrong with you. For example, everything we heard about Pav before he signed has turned out to be true. Once the initial excitement of being in the team wore off, he started going missing in some games.
Well if Dos Santos is a lost cause at Spurs hopefully an impressive World Cup camapain will result in us getting a good price for him!
GET OVER IT YE SAY. HAND OF GOD need i say anymore. thank you arguement over.
total different subject. are spurs nuts to spend 400m on new stadium the way recession is going?
I am no financial expert but it appears that we are over the worst of it. At the very least what it ensures is caution with lending.
Y ou look at what are Arsenal are doing and it shows the way forward for us. In terms of revenue from match days, Arsenal are up their with the best in world. Their facilities ensures they can charge massive amounts for corporate boxes and season tickets. Once the debt is clear for them, they will in a great position. I think they only have about 120m of it left to pay.
I agree MK. He's seems like the type of player (like Taarbat) who thinks he's brilliant. Day to day club football does not seem to motivate him and that's probably why Barca let him go so cheaply.
Both France and Germany lose. Could be a good couple of days for the English!
Raver, I'm well over the 'hand of God' thing. It's the media who love to constantly bang on about the past...1966 for example.
well let hope England look at France and Germany and rediscover some attacking flair.
It doesn't mtter who is in goal lets press the ball in the oppositions third of the pitch.
hand of God!!.....I think you should look at his second goal again. Unfortunately I never tire of watching it. For the skill and balance. ....and for Peter Reid running at full speed!!
as a irish man i dont mind england doing well, but like i said before its the media that turn everyone against england. like you said mkyid, 1966 will we ever forget it. god help us if england manage to win world cup there will be another 50 years of talking rubbish
Raver, for me Maradona is the best player that has ever lived. The hand of God goal is a stain on his career but what he did after that was just magic. I have no bitterness toward him are Argentina for that.
What is wrong with Englishmen and the English press being proud of winning the world cup? We did it and we should be proud. Just as i'm proud of every achievment Spurs have managed in our history. I will never stop talking about the double.
The reason you don't like it Raver is because you're jealous and that is fair enough i'd expect you to be. If Ireland, Scotland or Wales had done something we hadn't done i'd be jealous too.
If your country had won the world cup would you never mention it?
I personaly just get pissed off with the '66 cliches that get trotted out every 4 years. Yes, I'm proud of the star that adorns the England jersey symbolinsing the the triumphs of yesteryear, but every recent World Cup is blighted with the comparison the mercenaries of today to the heros of then.
Why does Capello never have Defoe and Lennon on at the same time? Surely he can recognise that most of Defoes goals last season came in the first half of the season when Lennon was fit and playing?
let the England players have a drink for christ sake, they are playing with a clloectibve carrot up their arses too uptight. Oh Yeah drop Rooney he is shyte.
I just hope England do well so they stay away from Harry!
You look at England managerial selections over the years and they are always fuelled by having the exact opposite of the previous coach. Capello's cold and lacks man-management skills, hmm I wonder who would be dubbed a breath of fresh in that respect.
Roy Hodgson?
Capello had it easy in the qualifiers/friendlies as a lot of the 'golden generation' tend to pull out through 'injury' but as soon as the big competition rolls around everyone is fit and suddenly we need to accomodate them all in the same team. It amazes me how we went and recruited Capello for some fresh thinking yet find ourselves in the same situation we had under previous managers, still trying to cram the 'best' players in to the same team despite the fact these 'best' players have never brought us success.
I am still unsettled by rumours of Forlan to Spurs.Built like a whippet I just dont think he can cut it in the premiership, which is played at a much quicker pace in the last third than most world cup games.
I believe it's not so much his team selection but his management style that isn't cutting it. There was a real lack of effort out there on Friday. If you think before players only had to put up with him for a matter of days but now they've been stuck with him for over a month and his autocratic style has worn thin. On top of not being a very approachable man, he doesn't appear very loyal either. You make any mistakes and you're out. This is not a boss I would enjoy working with across a consistent period.
Nobby, the only reservation I would have about Forlan is his age. He started life badly at UTD but it's unfair to judge him on something that happened years ago at one club. His record against English clubs in Europe is good. I used to see him as another Defoe but he's better than Defoe. His work outside the box is very good and he can head the ball. He's also a better finisher. He's also stronger physically than Defoe. I wouldn't be surprised if Harry wanted him but would Levy sanction it?
Alan yep i think he is 31. Actually, I am forgetting something, we are in the Champions League...DOH ! Obviously more technical than the prem Forlan could do well for us CL wise.
forlan really isnt that good and no better than what weve got and for us to pay between 8 and 12m at that age doesnt make sense especially on someone that struggled in the prem last time out, for me its not worth a gamble.
Capello should drop terry, who the fuc@ does he think he is going on world tele and telling the manager who to pick. this player power shi@ is destroying the game. graham Souness told it like it was on irish television coverage, players should be put in their place an worry about their owen poor performances rather than saying the manager should pick this player and that player. terry and co. had no prob with Capello tactics when they walked qualifiers.
Notice how Terry said that Joe Cole should play because "only Cole and Rooney are good enough to unlock defences". It just goes to show what Terry thinks of the likes of Lennon and SWP...
There are a few in the squad who think they are better then the others and it shows on the pitch. Lennon is key to Spurs' play yet because isn't rated amoungst Terry and his mates he can't make the same impact for England.
Now it seems Capello has fallen foul of the England clique, they don't like him because he doesn't give out cuddles and pander to the ikkle diddums.
It's time for the 'Golden generation' to fucK off, they've constantly failed to achieve despite the hype surrounding them, we need to put together a team of 11 men who will play together, with pride and desire, men who acknowledge the fact it's an honour to play for your country and not a perk.
"It's time for the 'Golden generation' to fucK off"
Brilliant comment. There seems to be a staleness (if that's a word) or burden/baggage that comes with this England group. They are not doing what they do for their clubs. To the point where you are left wondering if they possess any talent. When was the last time an England player did something you thought 'wow'? I can only think of bad examples!
Thats the problem to many of our players having an opinion and when not heard they sulk! Terry, rooney and gerrard were walking round like little fuuuuucking kids because they didnt get what they wanted, if i was capello id fuuuuuck the lot of them out of it. i miss the days when England had propper players non of this bullshit we get now, lineker, butcher, beardsley, pearce just to name a few but i would take any of them players over the shower of shit we have now, the introduction of sky football and the players having the freedom to voice there opinions on top of earning stupid money has taken football from the working class people and into a millionaires play thing.
Craig, to answer your rhetorical question to raver, Ireland still celebrate Italia 90 as if Ireland won it, even though they only got to the quarter finals. The victory against Italy in Giants stadium in USA has also achieved legendary status, although they failed to get out of the group stage if memory serves.
There is even a play doing the rounds about a time in the 70s when Munster Rugby team beat an All Blacks second string team. Yet they constantly moan about England remembering 1966.
I was born in England to Irish Parents and live happily in Ireland today, so I think i am in a good position to judge. Suffice to say, if Ireland won the world cup I think they might mention it occasionally.
Thats why i stick to an earlier comment! there is no such thing as a world class player!
I don t know about you guys but I was surprised it was John Terry brought out in front of the media. I don t think that was coordinated. Gerrard is the captain and he is expected to speak on behalf of the players. The conversation he had with the media offered deep insight into the relationship between the team and the manager and I wouldn t be surprised if his opinion was not representative of the whole group. He probably said that because his clique believes it. Otherwise Gerrard would have been asked to speak?
I think Terry still thinks he's the captain.
Could well be if gerrards been dropt?? wishfull thinking.
Terry has been shyte,. National hero? well lets think about how far back from zero this fella starts.
Just saw the interview with Capello and he repeated one a number of ocassions that Terry made a 'big mistake' speaking out. Fcuk the on field boredom, this is gripping stuff!
Play Hart,Carrgher,Cole Upson,Dawson,Barry,Gerrard,Milner(if fit,if not SWP)Lennon,Defoe,Crouch. On the bench..James,Heskey,Johnson( goes too far up the park undoes Lennon.Lampard. Dropped..Terry,Rooney.
That is a team that might just give a shit.
i think if we had the depth at te back then terry would be out, if i was the boss i would fuuuck him of anyway! Im with you nobby and probably every other English fan that gives a toss, it use to be an honour to play for our country and for me Rooney/gerrard/terry and others do not show the same appreciation as the likes of lamphard/crouch/joe cole and others do and they are the players i want playing for my country not the ones that think they are fuuuucking world class.
the england team is 12 hours away from repeating what the french have done
fact he is not the captain but is leading a revolt you only have to look at the pictures of training today to see his ashley cole standing near him smirking
terry has rolled the dice for him , if he had a problrem he should go to the manager , the man is a joke
drop terry put dawson in and see who strikes
tks alot John terry
I bet Capello wishes he'd taken Bridge now...
Its a nightmare situation. Terry should be dropped. But with no Rio, King or Carragher (for this game) that only leaves Upson and Dawson. Personally I think they'll both do the job. But I can't see Capello dropping Terry.
I fecking hate Garry Neville but I think he'd be good behind Lennon.
Johnson just has no idea how to play RB. But we are limited.
James, Johnson, Upson, Dawson, ACole, Lennon, Barry, Gerrard, Milner, JCole, Rooney.
As for Rooney....he gets abused during the game by his own fans and then has a pop back becuase he is as frustrated as them. And he had to apologies. bollox. he probably wants to win more than the fans.
Carragher in for Johnson at RB for the next game
As long as England get through the group stage, I think that will be enough for Capello to keep the job (if he still wants it). As a spurs fan, I am hoping Capello stays. Hodgson would probably be favourite but he maybe close to a deal with Liverpool and Harry would be next in line I would imagine. This would be a massive blow for us as I can't see him turning down the England job.
Alan, with all the to do with 'dodgy dealings' and Redknapp I doubt the FA will offer him the job any time soon.
I think Harry stock has increased massively at WHL. We are a big club and if he's good enough for us, I think the FA will deem him good enough for them. England is not a very attractive job anymore anyway. There would be a massive campaign to get him from current/ex players, managers and pundits. Simply because Capello is being criticised for his man-management. This is Harry's forte. On top of that, there isn't a large list for the FA to choose from.
I agree that Harry's ongoing court case would halt his progress but if he's found innocent that would be enough for the FA, he's guilty then obviously not but then we enter whether he's suitable for us or any employer to be fair?
Surely once-a-month International Football would suit Harry's dodgy heart. He could swan around Sandbacks with Sandra the rest of the time, dropping her at the nail salon....
Yep I forgot Carragher was suspended.Johnson needs to play deeper and let Lennon attack from slightly deeper.
Nobby, like most of the England team Johnson is only interested in his own game. He pushes up the field like a wing back and will continue to do so in hope he impresses (Capello / the media / whoever). His concern isn't Lennon or what Lennon can do given space and the ball.
Terry is a lowlife like his mum, dad and sister. Why anyone thought he should be England captain is beyond me. His dad sells cocaine in a pub his mum and sister shoplift. He parks his Bentley in s disabled parking spot while he and his family dine out for a couple of hours. He shags his mates fiance. Nice role model there. I'd give it to Rooney. He'd be charged up but in the right way.
Rooney has enough on his plate. He is apparently supposed to bring back the world cup on his own..according to the press. He is all over the pitch trying to do eveything..as he seems to think he's supposed to after listening to his hype. Don't worry about giving him the captaincy just let him get on with trying to be a striker.
Defoe looked way sharper than Rooney, pressure or not.
Johnson needs to be told by Capello.
"Capello's squad were forced to spend the morning training in Rustenburg after FIFA cancelled the planned sessions of both England and Slovenia inside the Port Elizabeth Stadium.
They are worried about the condition of the pitch, which could be seen to cut up badly during Monday s game between Chile and Switzerland the fourth game there in 10 days.
Officially, heavy rain has been blamed by FIFA but local turf experts believe the problem is actually related to the amount of sand piled on before the tournament in an attempt to create a smoother surface. But it has instead served to make the top three centimetres loose and the pitch very heavy." ...and if that wasn't bad enough, we've got a German ref too!!
Watching the game in Bondi pub in sydney at midnight. cant believe its a german ref. Whats going on. !!
Defoe to score first goal england win 3-1
Yeah, a bit dodgy that ref thing especially as we may well get the Germans in the next round. This chap is supposed to be quite 'card happy' too, he could end up doing his home country a favor. Of course this could have been avoided if FIFA ensured no-one from group C had German, Ghanaian, Serbian or Australian ref...
If we are looking for a guy who can play on his own up front, we could do worse than swapping Keano for Samaras. He played a very lone striker role yesterday.
Could have been a Welsh ref.
Don't be surprised if we are linked with the Greek number 19 (can't recall the name) in the comings weeks. Harry spoke highly of his man marking of Messi on BBC last night and said he had been watching him.
I noticed that too Alan. He was just a spoiler though and any mug can do that really.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Now there is a name that will earn good money on replica shirt sales!!
Papasmurf for short.
I agree Granty, my perception was that when you assigned a man to that job he was often your poorest defensive one as you didn't mind losing him out the game. My perception was that Harry had watched him before. I hope no one is signed off the back of this world cup because Samaras looked like Alan Shearer last night!
post 87...you are kidding arn't you?
Post 91. No. I've seen Robbie Savage do it enough times. It's easy to follow someone around a pitch.
shackles, shackelled ,shackles chain me up and fak me !!!!
Post 92...Robbie Savage closed people down, not mark man for man.
You are entitled to your opinion but you really need to learn more about football if you genuinely believe that. It is always your best defender and the job is completely different to standard defending. Well it is at the top level and not your Sunday pub team.
I would hardly call the likes of Baresi as a mug!
Well, we won...but I won't be getting my vuvuzela out and partying in the street just yet.
IT'S OFFICIAL
THE PAINT IS DRY
THE PAINT IS DRY!!!!
ENGERLAND ENGERLAND ENGERLAND
Well done England fans for out-singing the vuvuzela!
Baron von wanker, f off and support the French...Oh yeh, I forgot they were humiliated, better find someone else to support, is that what you'll do when the goons slip out of the top four.
Apparently UTD are not interested in J.Cole and it's done to us and Arsenal. Do either of us really need Cole? He's a good player but we have Modric and Kranjcar and Arsenal have all their playmakers. Where would he fit in?
down not done, sorry.
Alan...simple it's competition for places. Whoever performs plays!
Or, 'arry can accommodate with a 5 man midfield.
If cole is to choose us over Arsenal, I think it would be due to a garantuee of playing football. Otherwise he'd argubly be better paid and more successful, sitting on the Chelsea/Arsenal bench. Perhaps he could play Cole and Modric in a 433 but for me that would involve getting a striker capable of playing up front on his own. He won't come cheap. Apparently Arsenal have offered him a 3 year deal which will earn him 6m a year. Max he'd get at spurs is 4m a year plus maybe a signing on fee but when it gets to those fingers, I am wondering if he's actually worth that?
Another player who has impressed me in this competition has been Annan of Ghana.
The Prince, is that the same player we had, or is the Ghana player his doppleganger? he was superp against the Germans.
I refuse to acept that we cant find other players in form and match fit for 4mil a year. Joe Cole hasnt played enough football to prove his fitness and therefore his ability. I hope he isnt our summer spectacular. For most of last season creating chances was not the problem putting them away was.
Post 94 - get over yourself.
Post 106...hahaha. Glad to see you thought about your answer. Says it all really.
The Prince! Did Ghana proud. Always liked him. I d have him back in a heart-beat.
Also, someone told me we did extend Ledley's contract further. Does anyone else think that is nonsense. He is worthless to anyone else. Why is he not on a pay-as-you-play deal....??
He has signed a new deal for 3 years I think, worth 4m a year. I have given up trying to work out King's value at spurs. At the start of season I thought he was finished but then at the end he was vital to us. It must have been a difficult negotiation for Levy as King's situation is unique. Capello took a gamble on him and Harry (as well as every other spurs manager) rates him very highly.
Pay as you play, would be a great deal for spurs but if I was Ledley I wouldn't sign that deal. His loyalty should be rewarded. Three years is probably a bit much, but so be it, it's not my money.
Loyalty!! King is only at the Lane because of his injury, otherwise he would be playing for a bigger club.
When he signed his contract extension in 2005 he said that he would give Spurs 2 more years to see if they would be challenging and if not then he would have to review his situation.
He has only shown 'loyalty' because his injury has dictated so.
But Perry, where else would Ledley go now? He has no value, he is uninsurable. And a pay-as-you-play offer would be a true test of HIS loyalty to us....Surely the (I guess) 25m we have payed him over the last 10 years shows we have rewarded him. I dont buy this loyalty argument. He is unsaleable.
Simon, I am not sure he is uninsurable. I thought the same thing myself but surely spurs would not have been able to renew his deal if they couldn't insure him. You can't have uninsured players running around a PL pitch. It's a requirement of his FA registration. I think players are only insured for the length of their deals. Insurers are also clear that any pre-existing injury is not covered as Dean Ashton has found out.
I just believe that loyalty is a two way street. We can't complain about Judas, Berbtoss, Scouser Keane etc, and then try to squeeze the last bit of juice out our captain's knees at a bargain basement rate. Your point about 25m does hit a point though Simon. I guess it should buy his loyalty.
Just for the record, I said about 18 months ago that dumping him would do us and him a favour, so it just goes to show what I know.
as if king is loyal to the club when he is out on the pis@. fuc@ loyality to players, the club comes first. look at paddy kenny for sheff united, the club paid his wages while he was suspended by drug test. minute he is back playing he signs for qpr.
That's fine raver but just don't complain when players leave Spurs for more money. There is such a thing as karma as Glenn Hoddle and the French have found out.
the players will always leave perry man for more money and bigger clubs as we have seen over the last few seasons. i dont blame them but the club should not be too loyal either to the players, within reason yes but king only deserve pay as you play deal the same for woodgate
I don't agree that many of our players over the last few years have left for more money, those who were 1st choice have gone to clubs who were/are in the Champions League and those who weren't regulars in the team have generally gone to clubs where they will play more.
As for Ledley, who knows if he would have left but for his knee's but the fact is every single game he plays for us means that he will struggle a little bit more to walk when he is older, that to me shows a lot of commitment. Woodgate, as highly as I rate him, should probably retire now if he thinks he's going to have another season like last year.
Let's forget if he's been loyal or not as that implies there is much room for sentiment in football and I don't believe there is. What is important, to me at least, is whether Ledley can contribute to our success. The only thing stopping him is his knees. Either the club sought medical advise prior to offering such a long term deal or they included clauses to break deal if he was to breakdown. If they didn't, they have been very foolish. In fairness, this is something Levy is rarely culpable of.
There is no loyalty in football aside from the fans..and even then, I know a Chavski supporter with a Spurs tattoo.
good one mkyid, i presume he's one of the jump on the band wagon supporters. i hate them tossers. you pick your team and support them till you die. go on the spurs. transfer market too quiet. come on harry start your dealing.
Post 107 - why would a response telling you to get over yourself require any great thought? Every time I read one of your posts it's obvious how much of a conceited fool you are. Everyone else is wrong (unless they share your view)....but we're allowed to have opinions all the same. Thanks.
As for man marking being taking any great deal of skill, I disagree with you. I don't need to argue my opinion and I don't need to tell you you know very little about football because your opinion is different from mine.
He is Raver. He'd supported Spurs for years (got a tattoo and everything) suddenly the money rolled into Chelsea and he turned up at football training with a Chavski shirt on claiming their style of play is what converted him...personaly I thought he was a fucKing disgrace and during training went in for a tackle high and hard that left him on the deck, I called him Chelsea Cunt and carried on.
Don't worry about Harry, he's in S Africa coveing the cup and no doubt going round to all the teams bases tapping up..er, enquiring about certain players.
Style of play....under Jose?....that's not even a good lie. Chelsea are welcome to him.
Harry's on BBC 1 tonight guys, no doubt he'll talk up a player or two.
I knew he couldn't resist, just before they cut to the commentators he said "the danes are missing a good player tonight, the centre back from palmero, he's a good player" Kjaer.
Clutching at straws I know but I am starved of gossip!
We've been linked with Kjaer anyway Alan. Palmero has said they have had enquires/offers from 2 teams in Manchester, Spurs and Wolfsburg.
I see we are linked with a double bid for him and his mate Cavani at Palmero (pretty sure I am getting the name of the club wrong!). Kjaer looks a talent but I haven't been impressed with Cavani at the WC. Assuming Kjaer is valued at 12-15m then that would mean Cavani would cost 12-15m. Purely on what I have seen at the WC, I don't think he's worth that and no way can Saurez be 30m plus. He looks crap!
Post 123...lol. Drivel as usual.
